The Company

Originally based out of North Vancouver, Blue Ice Construction became incorporated in 1985. After four years of building on the North Shore, numerous opporunities to build in Whistler presented themselves. The prospect of building beautiful, challenging custom homes in one of the premier recreational areas of the world, prompted Dave Johnston to permanently relocate the company to Whistler.

Blue Ice has now completed over 40 major construction projects in Whistler and is on the leading edge of the building and renovating of custom recreational homes. We provide the tools, the experience, and the contacts required in building, or renovating a home from start to finish. Our projects vary from one-room additions to multi-million dollar state of the art homes. We are licensed builders offering a complete 2-5-10year home warranty package from the premier warranty carrier in the country.
